Rhythms and Wool Bales! by Candle Light
Featuring

Nick Parnell

Experience the world’s most beautiful fine music by candle light with a glass of wine, in the ambient setting of historic Blacksmiths Chatter. Concert artist Nick Parnell transcends musical boundaries with the spine tingling sounds of the vibraphone, combined exquisitely with Leigh Harrold on concert piano to launch his new ABC Classics album, Classical Vibes!

Enjoy dinner prior to the show, showcasing home grown succulent Salt Bush Merino and fine wine. You’ll then be entranced by Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Chopin’s Nocturnes and Gershwin’s Preludes, as they are delivered with the astonishing musicianship by two of Australia’s leading concert artists. A breathtaking musical experience not to be missed.  Bookings essential.

A visit to Coriole Vineyards atop the Seaview hills is not only rich in flavours of both wine and food but also long views over the McLaren Vale out towards the Gulf St. Vincent.

The original 1860's stone cottage and barn, which included vineyards dating back to 1919, was purchased in 1967 by Hugh and Molly Lloyd and thus Coriole Vineyards was established. Today, the winery is under the guidance and passion of second generation Mark Lloyd, a pioneer of olive oil, and Italian grape varieties in this country. Coriole has naturally evolved into what has become Australia's first "fattoria"; an Italian concept that combines vineyard and farm; grapes are grown next to olives and premium quality wine, olives, oils and vinegars are produced.

Since its first release in 1970, Coriole Shiraz has been viewed as one of the icons from this world-renowned region of McLaren Vale. Coriole has a consuming passion and commitment to wines produced not only from the traditional regional varieties such as Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon but is well established as Australia's leading producer of Italian varieties such as Sangiovese (which has been produced since 1987) and Nebbiolo. Barbera and Fiano will soon be added to the list. Coriole is passionate, and committed with its viticultural and wine making staff to the continual honing of the grape and wine quality from the estate.
